This survey is aimed at either Owners of Sporting Rights or Major Lease Holders who offer commercial country sport in Scotland. It has been set up so that you can easily go straight to the section(s) that are appropriate for the sport that you offer. We encourage and thank you greatly for your assistance in helping us all take this step forward!

Letter from the CSTG Chairman
Dear Scottish Country Sports Provider,

As chairman of the Scottish Country Sports Tourism Group I am introducing this survey which I would be extremely grateful if you would complete. You will find a more formal introduction in the Survey Introduction Letter below as to why we believe it to be such a fundamental exercise for the future of tourism development for country sports here in Scotland.

All details that are given as part of this Database Survey are Strictly Confidential and will be held exclusively by the Scottish Country Sports Tourism Group for development purposes initially. After this, all those on the database will have the opportunity to benefit from all our domestic and international marketing activities should they wish.

The survey and resulting database is aimed purely at Commercially Offered Sport in Scotland. Sport retained for the use of family and friends should not be included in this database survey.

Finally, may I say how thankful we are for your submissions and for helping us take this fundamental step forwards in the development of tourism for all country sports providers across Scotland.

Survey Introduction Letter
Dear Scottish Country Sports Provider,

The new "Scottish Country Sports Tourism Group" aims to attract 50,000 new participants into Scottish country sports over the next 10 years. We believe that Scotland should be the No.1 Country Sports Destination in the World and the work that we do will be designed to ensure that that happens. Scotland's heritage, tradition, landscape and quality of sport give it untold advantages over most other destinations. However, high level international competition has never been so strong and consequently we must maximise our strengths and look to develop in other areas to not only ensure that current customers continually return but also that new markets are attracted to visit Scotland as their destination of choice.

As the first step we ask for your help in building the Scottish Country Sports Providers Database, a comprehensive database of all country sports providers and the sport that is offered within Scotland. This database will become a fundamental tool for the industry and will provide a base for the majority of tourism development work for the future within this sector.

In all ways we have tried to keep it as short as possible given the huge diversity of sport available, but in doing so we may not have been able to cater for every situation and we apologise for this. Please therefore email us at info@cstgscotland.com to describe other sport or situations that you would like to highlight.
